The lost voices: Cultivating a culture of belonging with authentic inclusion
Organisations that are truly inclusive in their work culture will see improved innovation, better financial outcomes, retention, better recruitment and increased employee work satisfaction and engagement. Despite this being true, many companies in Asia are still falling short when it comes to fostering an LGBTQ+ friendly working environment – which could pose a challenge to talent attraction and retention.

This session will draw the experiences and expertise of corporate leaders across Asia revealing how to incorporate diversity and equity with actual inclusion in the workplace and they will prove why simply meeting numerical diversity goals without making effective changes needs to be avoided at all costs.

Tackling the climate crisis: Decarbonisation roadmap for a net-zero future

The rapid acceleration of corporate climate pledges, combined with the fragmentation of approaches have made it more difficult than ever for corporations to develop business cases that balance profitability and sustainability. How can organisations incorporate decarbonisation and an awareness of climate risks into their strategies while staying competitive? What practices and investments in people, processes and technology can enable a shift to more sustainable operations? And how can social and financial returns on investment be balanced?

This session will explore how pioneering organisations develop and scale their net-zero targets and roadmaps – and propel sustainable change.

Paying it forward: Growing a purpose-led business to drive social impact

From rising inflation to soaring energy and commodity prices, the pressure on established corporations to innovate and operate in ways that ensure environmental sustainability, respect human rights and improve wider society is mounting. Both HR and marketing functions must play an important role in designing a meaningful social impact approach that is true to the company and inspires employees/customers to take action.

In this roundtable conversation, delegates will discuss and share practical ways to design social impact strategies to engage employees and customers, plus ways to step up and commit to making social change through pledging profits, ethical sourcing of goods and services, employee volunteerism, and social movements.
